William Mc Canne Junr. Four hundred acres of land in Duplin County Wt. of the No. Et. River
being a place called the Landing Neck. Begining where Maxwells Creek emptys into the River
thence up the Creek by the various courses with the meanders thereof with Isom Sheffields line
to a cypress and burch on thr Creek bank whare Reedy Meadows makes out of So. Creek at
Wm. McCannes Senr. Corner thence down the Reedy Meadows with William McCannes Senr.
line about So. 18. Wt. 166 poles to a gum his corner thence as his other line No. 20. Wt. 78
poles to a Red Oak thence So. 45. Wt. 18 poles to a pine supposed to be at or near to Hugh
McCannes corner thence as his line So. 234 poles to a maple his corner thence along his other
line Wt. 60 poles to a pine by John Murphys fence thence So. 30 Et. 60 poles to a pine by a
pocoson thence No. 80 Et. 38 poles to a pine on Samuel Ratliffs line thence along his line No.
40. Et. 100 poles to a gum and maple his corner thence along Ratliffs other line So. 50 Et. 127
poles to a cypress his corner by the River at the Mouth of Reedy Meadow thence as the River
by various courses to the Begining
