Granted to Lavin Watkins a plantation containing forty five acres of land in Duplin County 
on the S. of the North East and on Poley Bridge branch-Beginning at a gum in a pocosen 
and runs W. 200 pole to pine Jacob Taylors corner-Thence South 46 poles to a pine Jacob 
Taylors other corner-Thence N. 67° W. 60 poles to a pine Dempsey Westbrooks corner. 
Thence N. 25° E.; 50 pole to a poplar on the run of  poley branch-Thence up the run of 
said branch to Peter Watkins corner-Thence N. 65°. E. 100 pole to his own corner. 
Thence to the beginning.

Dated the 16th day of November in the 20.year of our independence. and in the year of 
our Lord 1795
