John Evers three hundred acres of land in Duplin County on both 
sides of Island Creek.  Begining at a stake on John Evers own line 
thence as his line Wt. 100 pole to a stake his corner.  Thence his 
other line So. 127 pole to a pine his corner.  Thence No. 62 Wt. 
156 pole to a stake on Thomas Evans's line.  Thence his line No. 
50 Et. 17 pole to a pine his corner thence his other line No. 40 Wt. 
90 pole to a sweet gum in the Spring Branch.  Then No. 50 Et. 320 
pole to a pine.  Thence to the begining.
