James Outlaw To Randolph Rogers
Deed 100 acres
This Indenture made this May one thousand seven Hundred and ninety one. Between
James Outlaw of the province of North Carolina and County of Duplin of the one part, and
Randolph Rogers of said province and County aforesaid, of the other part Witnesseth that
I the said James Outlaw for and inconsideration of the sum of Ten pounds specie money to
me in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of the Receipt whereof I do acknowledge
and confess to be therewith fully satisfied and paid having given granted bargained and
sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do give grant bargain sell convey and
confirm unto the said Randolph Rogers his heirs and assigns forever, one certain Tract or
parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Duplin and province aforesaid, on
the no. side of the north East Begining at three Blackjacks and runs Wt. 160 pole to a
small blackjack, thence So. 100 po. to a maple in the head of the Reedy pond or head of
Cabbin Branch, thence Et. 160 poles to a stake on or near Randolph Rogers line, thence to
the Begining containing one Hundred acres. To have and to hold the said Tract of Land
together with all Timber Trees ways water courses profits and appurtenances of the same,
to him the said Randolph Rogers his heirs and assigns forever and I the said James Outlaw
for me myself my heirs Executors administrators do covenant agree to and with the said
Randolph Rogers he his heirs Executors administrators and assigns that the said Jams Outlaw
hath a good Right and in himself and full power and Lawfull authority to sell and Dispose
of the same in manner aforesaid and that the said Randolph Rogers his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns may have hold use occupy possess and enjoy the said Land and
premises with all the appurtainances without any hindrance or Molistation of the said James
Outlaw his heirs and assigns or any person or persons whatsoever that may increase or Try
to Lay any pretended Claim to the said Land by Virtur of any Law. In witness hereof I
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the Day and date above written.
