No. 1242

Granted to James Lanier fifty acres of land in Duplin County Et. side of the No. East
River and Nothh side of Cypress Creek.  Begining at a pine Willifords first corner
formerly Joseph Pearces's.  Thence with said Willifords open line No. 45 Wt. 127 poles 
to a Bay Tree.  Thence South 45 Wt. 62 poles to a holly & small oak on the Bank of
Cypress creek run.  Thence South 43 Et. 127 poles to a stake.  Thence straight to the
begining.
