Granted to Henry Maxwell a Plantation containing One Hundred Acres of Land
in Duplin County on the E. side of Stockinhead Swamp. Beginning at a small
Hickory at the upper corner of John Miller old Survey and runs along his line
Crosing Stockinhead Swamp S. 33 W. 160 pole to a water Oak in a Savanah
__ Thence N. 30 E. along wills,s line 210 pole to a pine by his corner on
William Dicksons line. Thence S. 14 pole to a pine Dicksons corner. Thence
along Dicksons line S. 56 E. 380 pole to a red Oak at Jacob Hancheys line
S. 56 E. 80 pole to a white Oak & Sweet gum in the low grounds of Stockinhead
Swamp. Thence S. 33 W. 40 pole to a Stake on James Maxwells line_ Thence
up the Swamp N. 56. W. 170 pole to a Stake. Thence N. 33 E. 10 poles to a
stake by Millers Corner_ Thence along John Millers old line to the
Beginning______
