George Morisey To James Pearsall
Bill of sale one negro
Know all men that I George Morisey have bargained & sold & by these presents
do bargain & sell unto James Pearsall a certain negro wench called Nancy now in his
possession, for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty pounds, which
negro wench I hereby promise to warrant & defend against the lawfull claim of all
person whatsoever. Witness my hand & seal this 17 day of October 1787.
