Enoch Cobb To Nancy J Waller
Deed for 55 acres
State of North Carolina Duplin County
Know all men by these presents that we the said E Cobb of the one part and Nancy J Waller
and Nathaniel Waller all or the said County hath entered into this Indenture the sixteenth
day of November Eighteen hundred & thirty Eight (towit) I the said E Cobb have bargained
and sold to the said Nancy J Waller & Nathaniel Waller a certain tract of land which will
more fully appear to the said Nathaniel Waller his lifetime only as to his part and to Nancy
J Waller her her heirs and assigns forever for the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to
me in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Begining at a poplar & black gum
in the miery Branch and runs west 84 poles to a pine then south 11 wt 109 poles to a pine
then south 100 poles to a black gum and poplar in the said Branch then down the various
courses of the run to the Begining containing fifty five acres more or less to have and to
hold the said messuage or tract of Land and I do for my part warrant and forever defend the
right title interest and claim of said land or witness my hand and seal day and date above
written
