David Alderman three hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County on both sides of a
branch of Rockfish Creek calles Pharers Creek. Begining at a red oak on the south side
of the Swamp. Daniel Aldermans Senr. upper corner. Thence No. 65 Wt. 70 poles to the
lower corner of Daniel Alderman Junr. line. Thence as his line So. 80 Wt. 114 pole to a pine.
Thence crossing the swamp No. 20 Et. 166 poles to a pine thence So. 80 Et. 247 poles to a
white oak thence on ar near Mearses line So. 35 Et. 170 poles to a pine. Thence on or near
John James's (continued on page 30) line So. 40 Wt. 60 poles to a Cypress. Thence oas
John James's other line So. 52 Et. 66 poles to a stake between a Hickory and Dogwood.
Thence along a line of marked trees said to be Timothy Bloodworths line So. 40 Wt. to his
corner and past 120 poles to a stake. Thence No. 35 Wt. 36 poles to a pine Daniel Alderman
Senr. Corner. Thence on his line No. 10 Et. 180 poles to a stake. Thence as his other line up
swamp to the begining.
