Andrew Adams To Solomon Carter
Deed 200 acres
This Indenture made this nineteenth day of January Anno Domino one thousand seven
Hundred and Ninety one Between Andrew Adams of the state of No. Carolina and County of
Duplin of the one part and Solomon Carter of the same aforesaid province and County
Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of forty pounds current money of the
state of No. Carolina to me in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents
the Receipt whereof I the said Andrew Adams doth acknowledge myseof to be fully satisfied
contented and paid Every part and parcel thereof and therefor have given granted bargained
sold aliened confirmed and conveyed unto Solomon Carter his Heirs Execurtos administrators
and assigns forever one certain peice of Land situate lying and being in the County aforesaid
upon Matthews Branch Begining at a hickory pine and red oak Benjamin Adamses corner the No.
side of Aziriahs branch thence his line to Benjamin Tompsons corner and thence along with the
Dividing chopts trees across to Isaac Dawsons line thence No. to the corner joinin Dawsons
line to a stake thence No. 30 Et. 130 poles to a pine Solomon Carters corner thence his line
No. 13 Et. 124 poles to a bay at the Run of Mathews branch to the Begining containing two
hundred acres be the same more or less to have and to hold together with all benefits and
appurtainances to the same belonging unto Solomon Carter his Heirs Executors administrators
and assigns forever as for my part the aforesaid Andrew Adams my heirs Excrs. admrs. and assigns
doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Solomon Carter his Heirs Executors
administrators or assigns that the aforesaid Land and premises is free and clear of all
Incumberances whatsoever unto the said Carter his Heirs Exers. admrs. and assigns may and shall
forever hereafter possess occupy and peacebly hold the said Land and premises with all benefits
to the same belonging furthermore for my part the Andrew Adams my heirs Exers. admrs. & assigns
by these presents doth forever hereafter warrant and Defend the aforesaid land and premises from
any person or persons whosoever unto Solomon Carter his Heirs Executors administrators or assigns
