Owen R. Savage-served with the 4th Cavalry, Co C and Cornelius Savage served with 30th Infantry Company E until his death Oct 20/21, 1862 at a Civil War Battle in Shepherdstown, Va. James named one of his son’s (my Great-grandfather, Riley Cornelius Dixon) after him.

John J (could be T. for Teachey instead of J.) Savage b. abt. 1845, son of Henry Francis Savage and Mariah Teachey, also served in 30th Infantry, Company E. He was cousin to Owen R. and Cornelius Savage.
