Josephus Batchelor, Private 2nd Co. A, 36th Regt. N. C. T. (2nd Regt. N. C. Art.) Born in Duplin County and was by occupation a farmer prior to enlistment in Brunswick County at age 18, December 9, 1861 for the war.
