The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the Carroll Cemetery in Duplin County, NC.

Location from Kenansville take #11 going toward Warsaw turn left on Brown town Road (SR#1957) Cemetery is about 2/10 mile on the left. It is very Overgrowth we had to take the garden clipper and cut us a path we had to crawl to the stone. At one time the cemetery was enclosed with a nice iron fence.

    James T. Carroll July 8, 1835 July 16, 1887 Zilpha Carroll Wife of John D. Carroll April 25, 1811 Oct. 25, 1890 Marriage Date March 19, 1832 Margaret Elizabeth Daughter of J. D. and Zilpha Carroll Dec. 26, 1848 April 30, 1860 Edward Carroll Son of P. And A. Pigford Jan. 18, 1918 July 4, 1919 Percy G. Pigford May 7, 1879 Dec. 29, 1918 Broken Stone All we were able to read Died March 23, 1885 Note on the last stone from Jackie Carroll Purdy: That is the marker for John Durham Carroll born 3 Jan. 1809 died 23 Mar. 1885.. He was the husband of Zilphia Chesnutt Carroll. Also my G.G.Grandfather.
