The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the James McClammy Middleton Cemetery in Duplin County, NC.

Location: Kenansville on Lanefield Rd., SR 1900, approx. 400 to 500 ft. from the intersection of old NC 903. It is on the south side of the road, only a few feet from the edge of the pavement. It is within property owned by a Mr. Brinson, who lives at that intersection.

Brown, Jr. Record collected November 1960 The following graves where there: Florence D. Howard Wife of L. H. Howard Feb. 27, 1859 June 14, 1884 Leonidas M. Howard May 5, 1884 Aug. 6, 1884 Also in this book by Ms. Kellum, she wrote: This old cemetery is on old Middleton plantation. This James M. Middleton lived in Wilmington for several years.He also had a business in Magnolia, N. C. His daughter, Mary S., Married 1st Lewis S. Herring, Married 2nd Gen. Alexander McRae of Wilmington, N. C.
