Lane, Matthew Logan - Matthew & Samantha Lane of Warsaw are pleased to announce the birth
of their son, Matthew Logan, born June 13, 2006 at 9:27 p.m. at Duplin General Hospital,
Kenansville. Logan weighed 7 lbs, 2.5 ozs & was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are
Kenneth & Debbie Rhodes of Beulaville. Great-grandparents are Lucille Maready of Wallace &
Carolyn Langston of Warsaw. Paternal grandparents are Royce & Dorothy Lane of Warsaw.

Murphy, Kyle - celebrated his birthday with a party on May 6... But instead of asking for gifts for
himself.. Kyle asked that relatives & friends drop a donation “in the big jar”. The money, he said,
would go to Duke Children’s Hospital. I collected $320, smiled Kyle proudly. My mom & I have
mailed off the check & I also enclosed a note I had written to the children. It read, “Don’t be
afraid, God is with you.” Kyle said he learned this verse last week at Bible School at Rose Hill
Baptist Church. This bright, happy & thoughtful young man is the son of Garry & Carol Murphy
of Rose Hill & the grandson of Pat Murphy of Kenansville & Dora & John Moritz of Rose Hill.

Rogers - Kaitlyn Mary - Jacob, Leeanna, & Brody rogers are happy to announce a new addition
to their family. Kaitlyn Mary Rogers arrived on May 25, 2006 at 8:07am. She weighed 6 lbs, 15 ozs
& was 20 inches long. Kaitlyn is the granddaughter of Hugh & Rita Rogers of Houston, Texas, &
Lonnie & Sheila Thigpen of Beulaville. Maternal great-grandmother is Mary P. Thigpen of
Beulaville, for whom Kaitlyn Mary is named. The Rogers family reside near Chicago, Illinois.

Sanderson, Landon Abel - Bobby, Gina, Brittany, Dustin, & Will Sanderson of Beulaville are
pleased to announce the birth of their son & brother, Landon Abel, born June 21, 2006 at
10:09am at Duplin General Hospital, Kenansville. Landon weighed 7 lbs, 14 ozs & was 19-¾
inches long. Maternal grandparents are Steve & Susan Brinkley of Chinquapin & Ann & Bill
Jasper of Wake Forest. Great-grandparents are Kathleen Mobley of Beulaville & the late Leon J.
Mobley & the late Billy & Margaret Brinkley of Chinquapin. Paternal grandparents are Carolyn
Sanderson of Richlands & the late Bobby Sanderson, Sr. Great-grandparents are Israel Pate of
LaGrange & the late Doris Short of Virginia & the late Lehman & Dorothy Sanderson of Beulaville.
