Birthdate of David SLOAN (11/16/1791) quoted above from Bible in my
possession.
Census Record of Duplin Co., N.C. of 1860 lists Susan SLOAN, age 60 years,
Magnolia, N.C.

Caroline A. SLOAN , BORN 10/3/1831-married Daniel Teachey MCMILLAN 9/27/1855.

Division of David SLOAN'S lands. Names (among others) Daniel Teachey MCMILLAN
and wife Caroline (SLOAN) MCMILLAN as heirs.
To my personal knowledge Carolina A. MCMILLAN, wife of D. T. MCMILLAN as shown
on gravestones in Red House Cemetery and Caroline A. SLOAN listed in SLOAN
Bible owned by J. Finley BONEY, Raleigh, N.C. and mentioned as Caroline Sloan
MCMILLAN in division of David SLOAN'S lands was one and the same person. My
grandmother's full name was Caroline Amanda SLOAN. I was sixteen years of
age at the time of her death.
